2018 Montana WPRA Circuit Finalist Tara Stimpson

Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals?
SL Fire Up Cash “Peanut” and Painted Fling "Reese" (2012 Sorrel Gelding by A Streak Of Fling x Young Laney Paint, Smart Painted Lena, Nebraska bred, PESI enrolled)

List a few of your highlights for 2018
Didn't really have any big wns, just placed consistently at many rodeos.

What is your horse(s)' style when running barrels?
Peanut runs pretty free to first but is more push style after that. She thrives off the rodeo atmosphere but doesn't get too excited about things.

What special qualities does your horse have and what makes him/her unique?
She tries her heart out no matter where we are or what the ground is like.

Do you have a routine you follow before your runs?
Not really, just do whatever is best for my horses and how they are feeling.

Name some favorite places on the road that you stop at for a meal, adventure or sightseeing?
I love trying new pizza places but it's usually just a quick stop somewhere and back on the road.
Sanford's in Casper WY is one of my favorites though!

When you're headed to the rodeo who's on your play list?
Ryan Bingham, Stoney LaRue, Turnpike Troubadours, or Sirius XM
